Dwayne Johnson had a tough time fitting in when his family moved from Hawaii to Nashville, Tennessee, because people thought he was an undercover police officer.
The Baywatch actor shared a hilarious throwback snap on Instagram on Thursday (17Oct19) of him sat at a desk aged 15, wearing nothing but a tiny pair of white shorts and gesturing his arms outwards as he looked into the camera.
Captioning the post, the star poked fun at his "creepy appearance" - telling fans his high school peers were convinced he wasn´t a real student.
"#flashbackfriday to that special time when I was a 15yr old punk kid, 6’4, barely 200lbs, creepy mustache and forced to leave Hawai’i to live in Nashville, TN - where I just enrolled in a new high school - and EVERYONE (students and teachers) treated me like I had the plague and stayed away because they were all convinced I was an undercover cop," he penned, adding, "True story."
"I had a WILD and unbelievable life and journey as a kid and teenager. Kickin’ puberty’s a*s from day 1," the Ballers star continued.
Taking a further swipe at his thin, fuzzy facial hair, Johnson added the hashtags, "#PornstacheJohnson #YoureUnderArrest".
In the following years, 47-year-old has enjoyed an impressive career, finding fame as a wrestler, before stepping away from the ring in 2004 after his acting career took off. He returned in 2011 as a part-time performer until 2013.
He has since become a Hollywood superstar, with his next movie Jumanji: The Next Level debuting in cinemas 13 December.
